Privacy Policy

1Overview

This policy describes what information StickyBunch ("we", "us") collects, how it is used and shared, and the choices available to you. It applies to the StickyBunch iOS application and this website.

2Information we collect

Account information

StickyBunch can be used without signing in; in that case the app creates an anonymous account identified only by a random identifier. If you sign in with Sign in with Apple, we receive a unique account identifier and, where you choose to share it, your email address (including Apple private relay addresses). We never receive your Apple ID credentials.

Content

Sticker packs you create are stored on your device. When you are signed in, they are also backed up to your account so they can be restored on a new device. Backups are accessible only to your account.

Purchase records

Payments are processed by Apple; we do not receive your payment details. We maintain your credit balance and a transaction history (credits purchased, spent, and refunded) associated with your account.

Generation records

For each sticker generation we record the request time and the options selected (such as style and mood). These records support billing accuracy, fraud prevention, and product improvement.

Information we do not collect

• No advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking.
• No contacts, location, or microphone data.
• No third-party analytics or data-broker relationships.

3Photos & AI processing

When you create stickers, the photo you select is resized on your device and transmitted over an encrypted connection to our server, which submits it to Google's Gemini API to generate your sticker sheet.

• Photos are processed transiently for generation and are not retained by us afterwards.
• Content submitted through the paid Gemini API is not used by Google to train its models.
• Automated content-safety filters apply to every generation.
• Generated stickers are saved on your device and, when signed in, backed up to your account.

Camera and photo library access are requested only when you take or select a photo. We do not access your photo library in the background.

4Face data

A photo you choose may depict a face. We treat that photo purely as image content. At no point does StickyBunch create a faceprint, facial-geometry map, facial landmark set, face template, face embedding, or any other biometric identifier, and we never use a photo to detect, identify, verify, match, or track any person. We do not maintain any database of faces or facial features.

• What we collect — no face data of any kind. The photo itself is used only as a visual reference for generating an illustrated sticker sheet.
• How it is used — the photo is resized on your device, sent over an encrypted connection to our server, and forwarded to Google's Gemini API, which returns illustrated stickers. The stickers are stylised artwork, not photographs, and are not used for identification.
• Retention by us — none. We never write the submitted photo to our database or file storage. It exists only in server memory for the few seconds the request takes, and is discarded when the response is returned. We keep only the generation's style and mood settings, and the stickers you generate.
• Sharing — the photo is disclosed to one third party, Google, acting as our processor for image generation. It is not shared with anyone else, never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to build or train any face-recognition system.
• Retention by Google — content submitted through the paid Gemini API is not used to train Google's models. Google may retain API logs for a limited period for abuse prevention, per its published Gemini API logging policy.
• Deletion — because we retain no submitted photo, there is nothing to delete. Generated stickers can be deleted individually in the app at any time, and deleting your account removes your stickers and generation records from our systems.
• Biometric authentication — StickyBunch does not use Face ID, Touch ID, or any biometric authentication, and has no access to the biometric data held by your device.

5How we use information

• Providing the service — generating sticker sheets and packaging them for export.
• Account management — authentication, cloud backup, and maintaining an accurate credit balance across devices.
• Support — responding to inquiries and resolving purchase issues.
• Integrity — preventing fraud and abuse of the credit system.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use your content for advertising.

6How we share information

We share information only with the service providers required to operate StickyBunch, each receiving the minimum necessary:

• Google (Gemini API) — receives the photo you submit, solely to generate your sticker sheet. Google acts as our data processor, handling the photo only on our instructions and under contractual confidentiality and security obligations providing protection equivalent to that described in this policy. Google does not use the content to train its models and does not receive it for any purpose of its own.
• Supabase — hosts our backend infrastructure: accounts, sticker backups, and credit records.
• Apple — provides Sign in with Apple and processes all payments.
• RevenueCat — validates purchase receipts so credits are delivered reliably; identified by your account ID only.

When you export stickers to WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, the stickers are handed to that application on your device; we do not transmit them to those companies' servers. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

7Data retention

• Submitted photos — processed transiently; not retained.
• Sticker backups — retained until you delete the pack or your account.
• Account, credit, and generation records — retained for as long as your account exists.

8Data deletion

You can delete your account in Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, backed-up stickers, and remaining credit balance from our servers. Stickers saved to your photo library or exported to messaging apps remain on your device and are not affected. You may also request deletion by contacting us at the address below.

9Security

All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS. Sign-in sessions are stored in the iOS Keychain. Sticker backups are protected by per-account access controls, and the AI service is accessible only through our server, never directly from the app. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures.

10Children's privacy

StickyBunch is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11Your privacy rights

Depending on your jurisdiction — including under the GDPR and CCPA — you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Account deletion and data export are available directly in the app; for any other request, contact us and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We do not discriminate against users who exercise their privacy rights.

12International transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, including the providers' standard contractual protections.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date above reflects the latest revision, and material changes will be communicated in the app before they take effect.
